KAPPA OMEGA ALPHA EPSILON CHAPTER
At Kappa Omega Alpha, we have adopted a unique rotating philanthropy model that allows us to support a different organization each semester. This approach gives KOA the opportunity to work with a wide range of organizations and causes, rather than focusing on just one area of philanthropy. Each semester, our members have the opportunity to provide input on organizations and causes that are meaningful to them, allowing our philanthropy efforts to reflect the interests and values of both our current and newest members. Through this model, we are able to make an impact in different communities while giving our members a meaningful role in deciding how KOA gives back.

PROJECT LINUS
BTOWN CAT CAFE
Project Linus is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing handmade blankets to children who are seriously ill, experiencing trauma, or otherwise in need of comfort. KOA chose to support Project Linus because of its meaningful mission and the opportunity for our members to make a direct, personal impact. Through our philanthropy efforts, we were able to contribute to Project Linus’ mission of providing children with a sense of comfort, security, and care during difficult times.
BTown Meow Cat Cafe works to support cats in need within the Bloomington community by providing a welcoming environment that helps connect adoptable cats with their future homes. KOA chose to support BTown Meow because it gave our chapter the opportunity to give back directly to the community we call home while supporting animal welfare. Through this partnership, our members were able to raise awareness and support an organization making a difference for animals throughout Bloomington.
